The wave

Since Ava learned how to wave she has not been able to stop. She waves at the dogs, at the TV, at anyone who walks in the room, at her books when they’re all done, at her dad when she is supposed to be eating or going to sleep – just about at anyone or anything. But the cutest by far is at the store when she waves to everyone we walk past. Last week it took me almost two hours to go grocery shopping – Ava waved at everyone she saw and half of those people just had to stop and talk to her. Of course, I don’t blame them since it is pretty darn cute.

Maybe she’s practicing to be the next Miss America, or even better the next President (they do a lot of waving, don’t they?!).
