Our first trip was our 4th annual week at the lake with Mike's family. We got to use my father-in-law's buddy's cabin on Lake Sylvan near Brainered again this year. It fits our family perfectly and has a few fun toys (boats, golf cart, etc) that we're able to use. Ava and her cousin Jake spent countless hours swimming around in the lake, fishing with Pops, and going on boat rides. We also took a 'sick day' trip to the Dairy Queen and Ava got to try tubing for the first time (and loved it!). Liam spent his first nights away from home and also took his first boat ride. Mike got to go golfing and I got to spend some rare time relaxing and finishing a book. It was yet another great week at the lake. We are already looking forward to next year!
