Thirtysomething birthday

Last week we celebrated another thirtysomething birthday of mine. On my actual birthday (which was a workday, Ava's first day of school, and swimming lessons!) we met my parents for ice cream after dinner.

We tried a fun new place near our house where you serve/build your own sundae! It was fun and a beautiful evening to enjoy it outside.

 

A couple days later the four of us celebrated with a trip to Minnehaha Falls. We ate dinner at Sea Salt, explored the falls, and had ice cream (again!). It was fun to see the kids enjoy exploring and getting to enjoy the nice fall-ish weather!
