Two already?!

Much to my disbelief, we have entered the month in which our little Ava turns two years old! I honestly cannot believe how quickly the past two years have flown by. When I was pregnant with Ava, and many times since, other parents have said to me that every year goes by faster and faster once you have kids --- it is so true!

The celebration of Ava's second birthday has already begun! Just like last year, we kicked it off with a party with our 'mom's group' friends. This group has turned into much more than just a mom's group, but that is what we still call it. Five of us moms met when our babies were about 3 weeks old through a 'mom & baby' class run by the hospital. When the class ended, we continued to meet on our own every week. And almost two years later, we're still at it! The kids and us moms have become great friends and I thoroughly enjoy their company.

We had a bowling party for the kids! It was a whirlwind hour and a half with five two year olds running around and trying to get them to bowl when it was their turn, eat a little pizza and stay out of the arcade. But everyone seemed to have a great time. The only time we could get all five in a photo together was during cake time!
