Birthday month

We are officially into Ava’s first birthday month! The festivities have actually already begun too. This past weekend we had a combo birthday party for all the babies in the “Mom’s group” Ava and I get together with every week. Since all the babies turn one within 10 days of each other, we thought it’d be a little much to go to everyone’s parties. So, we had a big party for all of them at the Chaska Community Center and it was a great success. It has been priceless to have these women (and the babies of course) in our lives and so neat to watch the kids change and grow since the first time we met when they were only 3 weeks old!


Becky made them all these cute shirts and the kids each got to devour a cupcake (also made by Becky!). Then it was off to the ball pit for more fun!


The big party was only part of our weekend! Ava also got to enjoy her favorite meal -- blueberry pancakes!

And we had Ava’s one year photos taken, along with her cousin Jake who will be four this month, at Edinborough Park. Nana and Pops came too to help. We’re excited to see how they turn out.


All the excitement = great naps!


In other news: our house is officially on the market! And only one week until busy season is OVER! Yay!
