Last birthday in the 20s!

Today I celebrated my last birthday in the 20s, or as my mom said, my first 29th birthday. ;) Mike made it a special day from beginning to end. After he made me breakfast, we walked to Lake Marion and played at the playground, had a picnic lunch and splashed in the water. It made my day just seeing Ava have fun. She enjoyed her first ever peanut butter and jelly sandwich (and loved it!). We didn't think to bring our swim suits, but it was definitely warm enough to swim. I don't remember many of my birthdays being this warm. It was a beautiful day.



Later in the day, after running a few errands, we went out to dinner and then came home and had cake (thank you Mom and Dad for the nummy cake). I cannot think of a better way to spend my birthday. Thank you Mike for making it so great! And more celebrating to come next weekend with our parents too!
