Vegas!!

Mike and I took a long overdue vacation to Las Vegas - JUST THE TWO OF US! It was our first real 'get-away' since Ava was born. While we're extremely lucky to have both of sets of parents really close by and always willing to babysit, we've never gone away for more than a night or two. So, leaving for 4 days/3 nights to be with just each other was quite a treat!

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of each other's company and the time we had to reconnect was invaluable. Mike made just the right amount of plans so we had enough to do without ever feeling rushed or too busy. We ate many wonderful meals, saw the Cirque du Soleil Zumanity show, spent time at the pool, played Craps (well, Mike did ... and he's a wiz!!), went shopping, and we walked, and walked, and walked! Mike was a great tour guide given this was about his 8th time to Vegas (and my first!).

And while we did miss Ava and Liam, we rested easy knowing they could not have been in better hands. They split their time with Mike's parents and mine and I am pretty sure they all had as much fun as we did :-)

Now the question is ... when can we go again?!? :D
