Sunny Florida

This has been the first winter/spring in 9 years that Mike hasn't had his busy work season. Since the new job he started in the fall is not in public accounting, we now have him back from January to April. Hooray!

We took full advantage of that this year and took a family spring break vacation to Florida, along with Mike's mom, Jill (or, Nana to Ava and Liam). We stayed at Mike's grandma G.G.'s house down there. Any time we have asked Ava her favorite part about Florida, she says, "seeing G.G." :-)

Some other highlights included many trips to the pool, a Twins spring training game, the beach, shopping at the outlet mall, playing at the playground and just being able to be outside! The weather was perfect the entire trip and the kids traveled very well.
