Our weekend with Daddy

We are about half way through yet another busy work season of Mike’s. It’s never easy and has been especially hard this year now that Ava notices and vocalizes her saddness about him being gone. But during each busy season Mike’s employer gives each employee a weekend off. So this weekend we got to spend Friday, Saturday AND Sunday with him! He got to come and watch Ava’s swimming lessons on Friday. She has changed/improved a lot since he last watched … she now jumps in on her own and would prefer we don’t hold her in the water!

On Saturday we spent the morning at the Children’s Museum and went to lunch at Punch Pizza. We all had a great time playing at the Museum together. Ava especially liked the water activites!



The rest of the weekend we just enjoyed being together and working a little bit on getting Ava’s new bedroom ready for her to ‘move in!’
