Ava's first Christmas was a definite hit - for us and for her! Christmases are going to be so different and much more fun with kids. Even at 8 months old, she seemed to really enjoy the festivities (granted she liked the wrapping and tissue paper as much as the gifts inside).
Ava was showered with TONS wonderful gifts. Her favorites are her first doll from G.G., a fish bowl toy from Uncle Ian and Bre Rose and a riding toy from Grandma and Grandpa.
We all really enjoyed seeing our family. I get a little sad at how quickly the holiday goes by and at what little time we get to spend with each one of them, but am glad we were able to see everyone (five gatherings in three days!).

We also learned that the holidays bring interrupted schedules and limited naps ... we rested whenever we could. :)

Looks like you had a great first Christmas! Very cute ... Can't believe how big they get so quickly! We should get together for a playdate soon.
