Busy week

We have had a very eventful, busy past week.

Last Sunday Ava had her baptism at Prince of Peace in Burnsville, along with a brunch with the fam. She was such a good sport and we really enjoyed having our families together.

On Tuesday I went back to work. This was our least favorite event of the week. Ava did great at daycare, but I had a really hard time. I am glad we were able to start with only half days for the first week, but next week we'll be onto our normal schedule of three full days! (No, I did not take any pictures of this event. Unfortunately the only thing taken at daycare was Ava's first cold :( !)

Ava and I also spent our first weekend alone, without Daddy! He was up north having fun fishing and golfing at a bachelor party. But don't fear, we also filled our weekend with fun ... Car Craft with Grandpa, Uncle Ian and Great-Uncle Roger.

And a wonderful baby shower thrown by my mom's family. The shower was for Ava any my cousin Kada's 6-month-old Griffin. They had a fun time exploring each other on the floor ... at least until Griffin stuck his fingers in Ava's mouth and she started crying and scared him!
